Inspiration for Wazzah!:
As we were in the hackathon, we were inspired by the various occasions were hosts of the hackathon asked participants various questions requiring feedback.
What Wazzah! does:
This led us to the idea of developing a real time Q&A and feedback platform that can visually represent feedback in a summarized manner while also still having access to more detailed responses using AI-powered bubbles. Wazzah! is designed for large group interactions, conferences, classrooms and live events. Moreover, Wazzah! will have a customizable experience using themes.
How we built Wazzah!:
We plan to use Firebase , React.js, Bun, Typescript and Next.js.
Challenges we ran into
Our main challenges include the following:
- Ensuring that all team members had the appropriate software to be used and that updates are the same across devices. -Learning JavaScript and its frameworks -Trying to merge frontend and backend
Accomplishments that we're proud of:
-Our resilience in continuing to try again even when things may not go as planned. -Our Courage in learning new programming languages to be applied.
What we learned:
-Importance of teamwork -Time Management -Collaboration -How to deploy to Firebase -Pros and Cons of deploying to Firebase vs AWS -Various Applications of AI -Front end (Figma, React.js, Builder.io)
What's next for Wazzah!:
We hope that Wazzah! can be scaled to be used regionally and be integrated with existing platforms such as Microsoft PowerPoint.
