WayPlant

This project was an ambitious one made by three first-time hackathon participants. The theme of the projects was sustainability, so we decided to construct a project that would directly help preserve and improve our community for an extended period. We built our project using React to design an interactive map for guerrilla gardening, aiming to protect the environment. Lastly, in terms of challenges, we encountered only minor coding issues that we were able to resolve as we worked together as a team. We achieved significant growth in teamwork and developed a successful method to foster further cooperation and increase interest in environmental preservation. We learned how to work with React libraries and the importance of API's in the development of certain portions of code. WayPlant aims to expand its database and enhance the accessibility and overall appearance of our project.
