Inspiration
We should provide a friction-less channel where talents can share ideas and help improve these ideas. Relevant teams can pick and realize these ideas. Anyone can contribute to any aspect of Wayfair. Everyone's idea should be easily heard.
What it does
WayInnovation is an idea-sharing, crowd-sourcing platform, where every Wayfair talent can share their idea, whether it's small or big, preliminary or polished.
- People can post their ideas (not necessarily closely related to their daily work), publicly or privately, and address it to a specific group or person.
- Others can review these ideas, thumb them up, and comment/improve them. Therefore, before the specific team taking care of the idea, it already gets a round of feedback from Wayfair family.
- It also provides a management tool for each team to review/prioritize/tag team related ideas.
- To prevent reinventing wheels, we propose a function of similarity check or search. Therefore, every time you have an idea, you can check whether there's similar idea.

This may be only a small idea, but what will be born from this platform will rock you and Wayfair.
