Inspiration

Dr Peter Saul, Senior Intensive Care Specialist at John Hunter Hospital in his TEDxNewy talk in 2011 explains how dying in the 21st Century has changed so dramatically due to technology breakthroughs, however this has come at a cost to the person dying, their family and a resource burden to medical professional services.

What it does

Way2Go is a web and app platform that encourages people to start the conversation about planning for the death.

How we built it

PHP Laravel web applications with database that stores responses

Challenges we ran into

Time Not having anyone on the team who has done a hackathon before was a steep learning curve
