Inspiration

After we learned about the existence and advantages of Solana, we fired up about creating an NFT collection on it. However, there are a lot of standard collections, and we wanted to create something unique. Accidentally, we stumbled upon the Bachelorette show episode, which featured a picture of voice visualization as a gift. It was a moment of insight because such visualizations in NTF format can captivate people and have huge potential as influencers voice autographs.

What it does

WaveTheVoice generates NFT waveform art from audio recordings. Once minted, you can sell your NFT, gift it, and access the benefits of the holders club.

How we built it

Сreated from scratch using Vue.js 3 + Solana Web3.js. UI: Tailwindcss + Ant Design. Built on top of Metaplex for easy minting. During development, two JS packages were created: Metaplex code for the minting, and the main frontend app (Metaplex web frontend is not used).

Challenges we ran into

This project itself is a challenge. However, one of the most difficult tasks was to separate the minting part in the Metaplex.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Two people have created a non-standard project in a new field, and it actually works!

What we learned

To be honest, this is our first blockchain project. We learned a lot from the basics of the functioning of Solana to the little nuances of development. We still have a lot to learn and feel grateful for Solana for this opportunity.

What's next for WaveTheVoice NFT

  • Initial Sale. Access to minting only for 5555 people from our list. Only one NFT per person

  • Secondary Markets. Connecting popular markets for NFT waves trading

  • Holders Club. Community with exclusive access to influencers autographs and other goodies

  • Interactive Gallery. Audiovisual virtual exhibition of created artworks

  • Influencers Autographs. Engaging influencers to create voice autographs in NFT image format using WaveTheVoice

  • WTV Marketplace. Launch of a separate marketplace with an auction mechanism
