🚀 Inspiration

In this pandemic it has become more and more apparent that mental health preservation is difficult for everybody because of a lack of social interaction.

🏭 What it does

Waves runs you through a series of meditation and yoga exercises to improve upon your mental health and start/continue your journey towards a better person.

⚙️ How we built it

We first started with the timer page, and then that broke so we made about 8 new renditions of it and decided to include some other pages and exercises.

🤔 Challenges we ran into

None of us were really proficient at JavaScript, and the timer functionality we wanted was simple but all the JavaScript timers we found online did not fulfill that functionality and we spent too much time on that.

☑️ Accomplishments that we're proud of

We learned a lot of CSS tricks to make websites more appealing, and we also all learned how to use GitHub. We also learned all the JavaScript we coded in the span of the hackathon.

🧠 What we learned

We learned about the collaborative programming experience and how much more difficult programming is than it seems.

🔮 What's next for Waves

We are thinking about implementing more features like tracking your progress, potentially a journaling feature, and a sleep tracker.
