Inspiration
We honestly weren't inspired by much, but we used concepts from flappy bird, and other shooter games that we've played.
What it does
In this game, the player starts with a simple pistol, and is able to shoot birds to save themselves. These birds add coins to your account, and allow the player to buy better gear and weapons.
How we built it
We used pygame, and used our prior knowledge to code the entire game
Challenges we ran into
We faced a big challenge when coding physics, velocity, and player-tracking enemies, especially in pygame. It was also very tedious to create rectangles and text, because of the way pygame does it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the fact we used NO AI and NO tutorials about pygame and our code. This was all done with prior knowledge.
What we learned
We learned how to work better more efficiently and how to handle pressure effectively by coming to agreements about certain parts of code. We also of course learned how to code in pygame more effectively!
What's next for Waves of War
There can be a more extensive list of weapons and gear, and we were considering making the game multiplayer.
