Inspiration
I have played many types of wave shooters and seems like the setup and structure of it is perfectly setup to play on both VR and Desktop and Mobile Devices. I have always wanted to jump into mobile games and shoot along with being able to bring my shooter on my device and this seems like a perfect fit that's meant to be.
What it does
This is a regular style wave shooter that has many customizable options
- Easily remove the character object from group and insert your own to match any theme
- All characters Attributes and Scaling amounts per wave are customizable in Props
- All gun Properties and Scaling amounts are also fully customizable in Props
- Add weapons as needed.
- Setup for all Basic Character Stats and Leaderboards and easily extendable and much more.
How We built it
This was built during my journey of learning how to use my AI friends Llama and Claude. It started off just seeing what it could do and once it just kept going, we were off to the races. So mainly it was built with the help of AI for Scripting, and I did the Design and Prompt Engineering.
Challenges we ran into
Keeping it at a medium point where it is still able to be extendable and upgraded while having a satisfactory amount of function to display. Often had to stop and rework a bit because I was getting too advanced and taking away some adaptability.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Building it out into a fully functional game and being able to find a new way of creating.
What I learned
- How to utilize AI to create a fully functional game
- Many tricks on Prompt Engineering
- Different ways of creating a smooth gameplay experience
What's next for Wave Shooter
Hopefully there will be many variations that can take what I created and go past what my current knowledge ability is and take it to new sorts of levels and heights.
