INSPIRATION = I was inspired by the idea that people should be able to build useful AI agents without needing to become experts in complex automation platforms .agents are getting access to real actions but most people building these agents have no simple way to control what agent is allowed to do.I wanted to build safety gate that sits between an agent and the real world.
WHAT IT DOES = Wave is a "Built + protect" platform designed to help users create AI agents from prompts .Every action the agent proposes goes through gateway that checks policy ,scores the risk and returns decisions.
HOW QLOO FITS IN = The agent’s recommendations come from Qloo’s taste data rather than a generic prompt. The demo includes a Qloo on versus Qloo off comparison using the same synthetic profiles, so you can see what the integration adds. WAVE includes four example agent experiences with qloo : Lighting Concierge, Travel Companion, Wedding and Celebration Planner, and Group Decision Planner.
CHALLENGES =
- Agent creation failed until the database tables and row-level security policies were set up correctly. Several rounds of schema errors were fixed by creating the tables in the right order. 2.During development, multiple templates opened the same customer-action scenario. it needed correctly connected template identity, agent configuration, and test data. 3.Balancing functionality with a professional interface was another ongoing challenge. I wanted the application to remain approachable for non-technical users without hiding important permissions, limitations, or execution details.
WHAT'S NEXT = 1.Connect more real tools (email, WhatsApp, CRM) with the same gate in front of each.
- I also want to support more external agent frameworks, clearer audit logs, and additional integrations so users can connect agents to their existing tools. 3.Expand Qloo use to cover more of the decision through user feedback.
