Inspiration
The game was inspired by a combination of simple incremental game's and scrooge Mc duck of all thing's
What it does
The game adds interactive elements to the depositing process to add a little more life to it, getting the brain a little more happy and hopefully excited about saving!
How we built it
The experience was built in 24 grueling hour's through struggle we persevered, all elements of the game are human built from the code, to the art, to the model's all of the elements where written or built by human hands.
Challenges we ran into
Fighting sleep was probably the biggest challenge, as well as trying to create a game that fit the vibe of our sponsor, the game had to be fun but not too in the way of the user's actual depositing process, just adding a little excitement along the way.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The models produced by one of our team members where amazing for the time given, and I only wish we had more time to fully utilized them, the same goes for the all the art produced by another one of our amazing members!
What we learned
Time management was a massive struggle here, figuring out what actually needed to be built first was the biggest challenge, and being one of our first 24 hour Hackathon (and first game jam for some of us) poor time management definitely effected the game's lifecycle.
What's next for Wave Bank Interactive Game
Not sure, this was made more as a interactive demo if not anything else, I am proud of what the team was able to accomplish in so little time and I hope we can do similar challenges in the future.
