Inspiration
Coming to ASU with no friends or connections, it was hard to find events and parties. I wanted to create an app that would make it easier for people to find events and make friends.
What it does
Helps you find current events and parties / Helps find people to come to your events
How we built it
Using react native and xcode for iOS, with supabase for a database and hosting the backend it locally for testing.
Challenges we ran into
Having to complete this in such a short time from scratch with no progress previous to the project
What's next for WatsOn
Polishing the app and adding more features such as "friends", notifications and widgets.
