Inspiration - The inspiration of this project was a projected I always thought about doing but never actually tried acting it out until this opportunity. It jokingly stemmed from a friend who was always dehydrated on a discord call

What it does- It takes data of what's said in a discord chat of a server and as of right now has 3 basic slash commands of grouping things together (which is disabled). pinging users to drink water, and an adding function which adds numbers together as of right now.

How we built it - I built it using the discord web developer portal, vs code, python (using Hikari and lightbulb templates) and with a lot of trial and error.

Challenges we ran into- One challenge I ran into was not being able to access my token to actually code the bot and I had to maneuver through settings getting a little messy. I also had sort of a painful time setting up the vs code environment with hikari as each issue kept going into a loot and I didn't know what was wrong. I also felt like I lost direction when I was on my own and would've been nice to work with someone with the same goal as me. I also felt the imposter syndrome as I felt I wasn't doing well enough even though I was learning from my mistakes.

Accomplishments that we're proud of- I was very proud of the way I was able to accept my mistakes and learn on and was encouraged by my growth. I saw it as something that was constantly feeing my mind and it made my mind very vibrant.

What we learned- I learned to not be hard on yourself when things don't work out the way you wanted them to be, to make mistakes is sometimes one of the most important lessons. It's also really fun to pursue a passion project that you wanted to do before especially if you didn't know much but really picked up and knew a lot and learning way more.
