Inspiration

Our inspiration for this product came from the rising popularity of portable beverage vessels.

What it does

It is a water bottle that can do more than just a regular water bottle. On top of keeping your beverage cold or hot, due to the insulated construction of the bottle, it can keep track of your tasks, gym routines, show off pictures and so much more!

How we built it

We meticulously designed the sleek vessel in SolidWorks, an industry standard CAD software. To show off our product we used Blender to showcase the details in the design.

Challenges we ran into

Our biggest challenge was finding an idea that we were passionate about. When we finally got the ball rolling it took us a while to hone in on our idea and come to our final design.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very proud of the concepts and mock ups we created. We spent countless hours thinking about the shape, silhouette and overall design of the bottle.

What we learned

We learned that it is very important to have a concrete design before beginning to develop the concept. We deepened our knowledge of SolidWorks and Blender as well as gained invaluable knowledge when it comes to pitching and entrepreneurship values.

What's next for Water Wiz

The next step software-wise is to continue to develop the software used on the bottle. Another vision we have is to expand our products to different sizes and mediums such as a coffee tumbler, a mug and countless other.
