Inspiration
About 70% of the total freshwater is used by agriculture, much of which is wasted as over-irrigation, evaporation, and runoff. Since food demand is increasing fast, optimization of water use in agriculture will be extremely important for ensuring food security, as well as conserving this important resource. We wanted to create an innovative solution to tackle both the world's food insecurity problem and water crisis.
