Watchdog

Inspiration

Because the Hackathon was on Discord and because Discord is useful for many people, we wanted to combine Discord with the theme about war.

What it does

You can interact with the bot so that it gives information about a certain war, displays graphs with war-related statistics, etc.

How we built it

We used Python and the discord.py API.

Challenges we ran into

Challenges included setting up and using the discord.py API, remembering how to use Python, getting the bot to work properly in general.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We managed to get some of the bot commands to work despite all the difficulties.

What we learned

Discord bots have a lot of components working in it for the bots to function properly.

What's next for Watchdog

Next, Watchdog should have access to more information, statistics, graphs, etc. so the bot can provide a greater variety and amount of information.
