Our parents are the ones who always care about their family even they have busy life. They want to be with their family for 24hours and it realistically cannot be made. Therefore, we would like to develop smartphones to have family network with GPS. Each member of the family can catch up each other’s location, conversation and contact each other for SOS in real time through this application. It is required that Gear 2 is synchronized for faster check-up of alarm.
1) Awareness of locations, circumstances and behavior of family The existing services, based on GPS, provide an alarm to a person when target person gets near to appointed place. And this is certainly a limitation of the existing service. Thus, the sensor in gear 2 senses the circumstance and behavior of a target, letting the family know current conditions of other family members in detail.
2) Functional extension of application through use of Gear 2 Gear 2 has a heart rate measuring sensor, an acceleration sensor, a gyro sensor and a camera. The aim of this project is to provide more efficient and extended function of application by applying functions of those three sensors and the camera of Gear 2.
3) Extension of accessibility using Gear 2 People without gear 2 have to get their smartphones out to check messages and use maps. Accordingly, they have to keep the smartphones in their hands which is a realistically impossible phenomenon. On the other hand, it is thought that accessibility to this application have been increased as people can immediately respond to emergency messages by possessing gear2. Another goal of the project is to provide services which make users to have easier accessibility by using gear2.
