On a daily basis, men and women discard more and more trash, and it is too often taken for granted how far reaching the consequences are. Of course, most people aren’t even cognizant of the extent to which we could help. Waste is not simply trash; rather, it is the outcome of a more troublesome underlying cause that every single one of us has or had even if it is not visible at once.

This is something we witnessed, and it made us act. This is how Wastify was created. It’s not about building extravagant and sophisticated gadgets – it is something much deeper and fundamental: enabling each of us to perform as many cost-effective, insignificant, positive acts as possible. Wastify allows each individual to be empowered in making appropriate choices regardless of location and expertise through the use of AI that recognizes products in images that can be wasted or recycled.

It’s not about achieving all goals; it’s about taking little steps which are pieces of the larger puzzle. Wherever you find yourself – whether it’s at home, at the workplace, or in your neighborhood – Wastify enables you to visualize what is currently in your view and perform the actions that this planet requires at this point.

We didn’t design Wastify as an elaborate solution for high tech individuals. We designed it because we want to empower everyone- sometimes people just need to know how to get the change they want. There is a time for action and Wastify ensures covering waste management is not the reserve of the few.

There is no reason why our world should keep turning blind eyes to this one. It’s not always simple to know where the line begins, but Wastify allows us to make a dent in the issue - one baby step at a time.
