Waste&Pay is a new solution to dealing with littering. People in Indonesia usually don't bother to throw their trash in the right place. This is a huge problem, because improperly disposed trash can cause a lot of adverse effects such as pollution, poisoning wildlife, etc. Waste&Pay aims to solve that by rewarding people who properly dispose of their trash. To collect trash, users enter their address and payment method of choice, then, a volunteer comes to their location and weighs the trash that will be collected. The user will then be paid Rp 2000 per kilogram of trash. This incentivizes people to stop littering, as they are actively rewarded for properly disposing their waste and protecting the environment.
