Inspiration

Imagine walking on street and suddenly bad smell come into your nose ruining your mood , this happened a lot with me and then i thought about this idea

What it does

it basically spot out the coordinates of waste through help of iot and computer vision and then it send all those data to map for further process picking and dropping etc

How we built it

we built it in these steps:- step1-Deploying IoT devices and connecting them to cloud to fetch all the data whenever the bin gets full​ step2-After collecting all the data ,we will sort out the locations of bins ​ step3-Spotting out waste on street using Computer vision step4-Informing municipal staffs to collect up those garbage step5-Allocating location and optimizing route for collection step6- recycle or dump

Challenges we ran into

Q - Setting up IoT devices in whole city and monitoring them will be a costly and complex work , how will you solve this problem? Ans - We are continuously trying to make our hardware as cheap as possible, also we are making webapp to solve that complexity effectively. Q - About computer vision part ,how will you gather camera access of every street? Ans - We know it will be a tough part for us but everyone on earth want their nearby area clean where he/she lives ,so cooperating with them will help us a lot also street camera implanted by government will be useful for us. Q - what after you got all coordinates of garbage , how will you collect all garbage in huge area? Ans - we are trying to make interface and sections for municipal drivers, allotting them particular area so they only pick up from those areas and drop on particular location
