Description of our project: Our hack takes on the challenges of organising volunteer cleanup events. These events are crucial to collecting waste thrown away in nature (and urban areas). We got inspired to do this, because we wanted to create something that can help combat environmental pollution we face in our time. We built our project in a form of a handy app, that can be used by anyone. With this app anybody can organize a cleanup event to which other poeple can join. After contributing in the event, the organizer appoints the people scores for each collected bag of waste. Monthly leaderboards are added and people feel even more rewarded for what they are doing. For this solution we have used javascript, php, MySql technologies.
