We understand the waste management companies face daily, from optimizing routes to managing customer expectations, that's why we're excited to present our innovative waste collection app Dirt Collator designed specifically for waste management companies like yours. Waste management companies, grapple with an array of challenges that impact operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and environmental sustainability. These challenges include: ● Inefficient route planning leading to increased operational costs. ● Manual customer management and scheduling processes. ● A growing demand for more convenient and sustainable waste collection services. Our Waste Collection App is your answer to these challenges. It's a user-friendly, and versatile platform that streamlines your operations and enhances the services you provide to your clients.

What it does

It helps waste management apps with: Route Optimization: Our app utilizes advanced algorithms to optimize collection routes, reducing fuel costs, and minimizing the carbon footprint.

1. Customer Management: Effortlessly manage customer accounts, including scheduling, invoicing, and tracking services.
2. Sustainability: Promote recycling and responsible waste disposal practices among your customers, aligning with the global shift towards a greener future.
3. Real-time Tracking: Monitor your fleet and waste collection progress in real time, improving transparency and accountability (Coming soon) ## How we built it React js, Material UI and Firebase are the main technologies used in building the app. Precious Esobe came up with the idea and we sketched and drafted the design while Esobe Isaac built it. ## Challenges we ran into The biggest challege is having to learn firebase firestore and auth a technology we weren't familiar with ## Accomplishments that we're proud of We are proud of building the simplest yet workable and innovative solution in the waste management industry, more especially, learning a new technology while doing this. ## What we learned Collaboration is a key lesson, though we operate from different state, we still find a way to learn the possible ways to collaborate efficiently ## What's next for DirtCollector We have hopes of putting the solution out to be tested by waste management companies and coming up with a micro SaaS on it.
