Inspiration
Most households keep proof of purchase in two places: PDF invoices in download folders, and phone photos of paper receipts lost in the photo library. When an appliance breaks, people can't find the receipt, or don't notice the warranty ended last month, and end up paying for repairs that were covered.
What it does
Warranty Receipt Keeper turns scattered receipts into one verified warranty register. It finds invoices and warranty cards in NAS folders, finds receipt photos in the photo library, reads both, merges the same purchase across formats, and groups products into expiring soon, expired, active and unknown. Every record links to its source file. Optionally it tags the files and saves the register to the knowledge base so you can ask later: "when does my fridge warranty end?"
How we built it
It is a pure orchestration Skill following the Uliya Skill Development Standard. It delegates to file-agent (find, checksums, tags), document-agent (field extraction), photo-agent (classification, OCR and visual check of receipt photos) and knowledge-agent (saving the register). Write steps go through platform approval. Data never leaves the NAS. The SKILL.md passes the official checker with 0 errors and 0 warnings.
Challenges
Never inventing data. A warranty end date is labelled stated, calculated, assumed term (only with a user-given default) or unknown, so the user always knows how much to trust it.
What's next
Testing OCR on faded receipts and multilingual (English/Turkish) invoices on a real UGREEN AI NAS.
