Inspiration

I work for a company that Imports from an international Company in Europe. We bring things from Europe and sell them to all the baby stores around the country and to the e-commerce companies, because I do the warranties claims back to the supplier. Sometimes things are rejected and returned by E-Commerce companies without even being notified, and then the whole process of actually what is wrong with it. I'd have to find out from the get-go what's wrong with it. Why was it returned? Why was it rejected? You'll find that the customer is already credited whether there is wrong or not.

What it does

What it does is, if you have bought any product from e-commerce, even if you bought it off a store (because even stores can actually do this), you log a fault. In your fault, you must actually give a full video description and demonstration of the issue. You upload a picture of your proof of purchase, and you can type out a description of the issue.

What the system does is it'll pull from the huge database of warranty processes from different companies (but you you can specify your product to make it much faster) and different manufacturers and define whether your issue falls under warranty or not, depending on the date of purchase (six months, one year, two years, and five years (If it's a vehicle, for instance), then it would actually accept or reject accordingly.

If it accepts, then it would escalate to the store or the e-commerce company that you purchased it from, and they can actually then accept and forward to their supplier the claim. Before person just goes and rejects without actually proving that there is something wrong.

How we built it

Gemini for suggestion, It suggested other apps and still trying to figure out as they are all new.

Challenges we ran into

Finding test subject who are willing to give their details to be put in the app. I am new to the space, unknown name and everyone I have approached said they will come back to me and its been weeks without anyone coming back.

Other one is the company I work for isn't the most supportive so asking them isn't even an option.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Learning Ai as a single mom with a full time job and teaching it part time to others.

What we learned

I used Gemini for the first time. I've never used it before. I found it very exciting, and I love the opinion in the situation that it gave me. I was so surprised, as well as the notebook LM. That was the first time using that as well.

Now I take the videos and I upload them there, and it gives me a full brief of what the video is about. I'm actually learning because I've never used Vercel or any of the other apps linked to Gemini (Google), so I'm learning from scratch to create this because I usually use Claude.
