When a dishwasher dies, most households cannot find the receipt, do not know the warranty length, and often pay for a repair the manufacturer would have covered. The proof usually already sits on the NAS, as order PDFs, manuals and phone photos of paper receipts.
What it does
warranty-claim-kit is a UGREEN Uliya Skill. You say something like "My LG dishwasher stopped working. Is it still under warranty?" The Skill confirms the item and search scope, searches documents and the photo library together (including photo OCR), extracts the purchase facts, reads the warranty terms, and gives a clear verdict: Covered, Expired or Unknown, with source files as evidence. After your approval it copies the proof into a claim folder and saves claim-summary.md.
How it is built
A parent Skill delegates only to registered experts: file-agent, photo-agent, document-agent and knowledge-agent. Everything is read-only until one approved copy step, and nothing is ever moved. It handles completed, failed, cancelled, waiting_user and waiting_approval states. It uses the local AI NAS model, so no data leaves the NAS.
Status and limitations
Implemented: SKILL.md and four reference files. It passes the official static checker. Still pending NAS validation: photo OCR recall, extraction accuracy on mixed receipts, and approval prompts. The Skill never guesses: missing facts give Unknown and say what is missing. Test data is synthetic only.
AI disclosure
AI coding assistants drafted the Skill and the proposal at my direction. I reviewed and edited them, and validated the Skill with the official checker.
