Inspiration

Delving into the challenge of addressing seasonal adversities, we conducted extensive research and discovered a concerning pattern of increased fatalities during the winter, often linked to homelessness. This led to us creating Warm Buddy, a solution designed not only to inform but to foster connections and supports.

What it does

To assist you in getting ready for winter, Warm Buddy has crafted an easy-to-follow information panel covering essential Do's and Don'ts for effective winter preparation. The community panel enables the creation of region-specific communities, connecting users in the same vicinity. This community space facilitates donation and volunteering initiatives, promoting a sense of support and solidarity.

How we built it

While Canva is primarily a graphic design tool, we creatively leveraged its user friendly interface to visually conceptualize and articulate the core elements of Warm Buddy.

Challenges we ran into

The limited timeframe added pressure to speed up various aspects of the project. This urgency required us to streamline processes and make quick decisions.
