Inspiration

I’m a Yugioh collector and a poker player and I wanted to combine them for a broader audience.

What it does

The card game teaches the functions of the US government in a hierarchical fashion that converts into a 54+ card poker deck.

How we built it

I researched the structure, formed a template, and used codex to generate art and place my original text into the card template.

Challenges we ran into

Learning and double checking my knowledge was rather tedious. All graphical difficulties were otherwise solved seamlessly when described precisely to the ai.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This project brought me a step closer to automating more processes like this. I enjoyed pulling this together and ordering a final product.

What we learned

I learned in depth details about the government that weren’t taught in 8th grade social studies.

What's next for WarCards

I’ve ordered the first set of cards. If they print clearly, I’ll finalize boxing, licensing, and try to sell them to schools or bookstores. With an app, I’ll bring players together online to duel.
