Inspiration

When I found out that you had to create a project revolving around our hobbies and favorite activities/causes, I decided to create a card game app. I decided to create specifically a war card game app since it was my favorite card game.

What it does

The War Card Game app does has multiple features. When you enter the app, you will see

How I built it

This app was built using a Swift IDE called Xcode which I downloaded from the Apple Dev Ecosystem. I then programed this app using Swift also using a SwiftUI.

Challenges I ran into

I ran into a few challenges while creating this app. There were a few bugs which I had to fix, some things that I wanted to display didn't display, and coding the Swift Functions and SwiftUIButtons/Properties was a bit challenging.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I am proud of the outcome of this app overall. I am also proud that I got to put my app in the App Store.

What I learned

I learned a few things while creating this app. I found out about Xcode which is a great IDE platform for Swift coders. I also picked up a few skills from Swift as I haven't coded in Swift for a while. I learned how to build a user interface, Swift Functions, and SwiftUIButtons/Properties.

What's next for War Card Game

I have some ideas for the War Card Game I could implement in the future. In the future I plan to mainly add more features to make the game more fun to play. I also plan to add coins into the app, where for example if a player wins a game then he would earn coins to use later on in the app.
