We were inspired by the Waltham Boys & Girls Club, a second home for many kids, providing safety, education, and growth opportunities. When we visited, we saw its incredible impact but also learned about its financial challenges. As students, we understood how critical education and support are, which motivated us to create a sustainable business model to help the club thrive.

Our project focuses on leveraging underutilized resources like gym and meeting room rentals, building partnerships with companies for multi-year sponsorships, and empowering kids through job skills workshops led by Brandeis students. We also proposed a marketing campaign to boost visibility through social media and branded initiatives.

We learned how small, actionable changes can create long-lasting impact and the importance of collaboration in creating sustainable solutions. Challenges like data collection, tight deadlines, and balancing simplicity with impact pushed us to innovate, ensuring our plan aligns with the club’s mission to serve the community.
