Wallmaa – Minimal Wallpapers

Inspiration Most wallpaper apps are cluttered: endless feeds, heavy ads, low-quality images. We wanted the opposite. A small, curated set of wallpapers that make your phone feel calm. Wallmaa belongs to the "MAA" minimal family from Bract Studio, next to our minimalist launcher MINIMAA.

What it does • Curated minimal wallpaper collections, with quality over quantity • High-resolution wallpapers sized for modern Android devices • One tap to download and set as wallpaper • Categories: Minimal, Abstract, AMOLED, Dark, Nature, Gradients, Geometry, Illustrations, Architecture, Textures • Light and dark aesthetic collections • Favorites to save the ones you love • New wallpapers added every week • No data collected and none shared with third parties

How we built it A native Android app with a simple browse → preview → set flow. Premium wallpapers are unlocked through in-app purchases powered by the RevenueCat SDK. [ADD: what you sell — e.g. premium pack / lifetime unlock / subscription]

Challenges we ran into Keeping the app fast while serving high-resolution images. We also fixed a bug where unlocking a wallpaper could get stuck on the loading screen.

Accomplishments that we're proud of 500+ downloads on Google Play since launch. The app collects no user data at all.

What we learned In a crowded category, curation beats volume. Users want fewer, better choices.
