The inspiration for developing my wallpaper app came from my personal love for customization and creativity when it comes to personalizing devices. I often found myself searching for high-quality wallpapers online, but the process was tedious and lacked variety. This sparked the idea to create an app that would simplify the experience by offering a vast library of stunning wallpapers in one place, powered by the Pexels API. During the development of this project, I honed my skills in API integration, Java programming, and UI design using XML in Android Studio. One of the key lessons I learned was how to efficiently handle large data sets, like high-resolution images, while maintaining smooth performance and a seamless user experience. Building this project was a rewarding experience as it allowed me to combine both technical and creative elements, creating an app that not only serves a functional purpose but also enhances the aesthetic appeal of users' devices.
