Inspiration

  • There has always been a way to share social networking links tied to a wallet. One of them is TEXT RECORD for ENS.
  • However, I thought it was not easy for everyone to use because of the following issues: you have to own ENS to set it up in the first place, you have to pay for gas to set it up, the share screen is not cool....

What it does

  • Wallet Tree has been developed to take full advantage of a very cool service called privy.
  • Anyone can easily and free of charge publish a collection of social networking links by simply tying them to a meta mask and entering the ID of the social networking service.
  • What's more, the API is open to developers, so you don't have to ask users to enter their profile fields for a wide variety of services.

How we built it

  • The web front is made with React.
  • All links and other data are stored in Privy.
  • The data in Privy can be publicly viewed by users already connected to Wallet.

Challenges we ran into

  • Nothing in particular (privy was very easy to use!)

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Cool and easy-to-understand design
  • A front end that anyone can actually use today

What we learned

  • Service development using Privy, a very good API

What's next for WalletTree

  • Avatars can also be configured
  • Phone number and email can also be configured
  • Enable to see the number of tapped links
  • Choose from several design options
