Inspiration

On chain privacy, after what we saw happen with tornado cash as developers it made sense to focus on keeping our web3 identities private

What it does

Our Project lets users connect to the Hopr Rpch straight from tally ho and frame!

How we built it

We built this forking these open source wallets and implementing the most user friendly way of connecting to hopr.

Challenges we ran into

  • Running hopr locally on mac amd (spoiler still does not work but hopefully will in the future)
  • Understanding each respective github repo and how to update accordingly with the features we wanted
  • Connecting to hopr with a dynamic rpch, the user can choose to run his node locally or use a hosted node ## Accomplishments that we're proud of
  • UI/UX experience
  • Custom wallet integration with frame and especially tally ho, the latter only allows a certain amount of default networks so it was very cool to add hopr to that list :) ## What we learned

  • how to use hopr
  • how a wallet is built ## What's next for HOWI: Hopper on chain wallet integration
  • A smoother onboarding for hopr on each wallet
  • A PR on each wallet so we can make this hackathon project a mass adoption reality
  • More wallets with hopr!
