Inspiration

In McMaster's residence buildings, over 74% of rooms are doubles. This may lead to many students feeling uncomfortable regarding their privacy.

What it does

Our innovative design combines 4 key components of a dorm room into a single piece of furniture.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenges we faced were the sliding mechanism of the door and finding a balance between space and functionality.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We had to meticulously design every part of the walldrobe.

What we learned

We gained new skills in animation rendering and improved our CAD skills.

What's next for Walldrobe

• Improving the sliding mechanism by making it more concealed to improve aesthetics.
