the problem of garbage in Saudi Arabia
What it does
Our project is in the field of recycling. Our goals are to reduce the need for human intervention and Prevents pollution by reducing the need to collect new raw materials. Through targeting smart cities
How we built it
The idea is about making a big garbage containers that classified into 4 categories, plastic, metals , papers and other , for each a specific color The garbage will contain a sensor that will work once a specific weight reached then the ground beneath the containers will open ,
below there will be an infrastructure divided into 4 layers according to the container contents that will walk by electronic pathways towards collecting point This collecting point will gother the multiple garbage containers in the city
The driving idea behind the application is to create a way to motivate people to help in recycling, for each specific kg the users put in the garbage they will get a barcode , by scanning the barcode through the application its will count for points that will turn into coupons that could be use for many stores as restaurants , shopping and others
Challenges we ran into
the narrow in consideration of our limited abilities and knowledge , we couldn't do every step as perfect as we want but we tried our best.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
less than 48 h with only 3 participant , we did all this
