Human movement laboratories frequently conduct studies of patients walking at specific speeds. Unfortunately, this is a post-hoc iterative process where verbal feedback is given at the end of a "trial capture". This technology measured the patient's walking speed in real time and provided biomedical feedback drastically reducing the time needed to collect the data increasing study productivity and reducing labor collections costs.
