Walk It

Inspiration

As a university student, walking is part of my everyday life, from lecture halls to lecture halls, from hostels to lecture halls. figuratively, walking never ends and it's not fun, so i decided to find a way to make the walking bearable, not just for me but for my fellow students.

it works, honestly. Setting up flutter on windows and vscode is a battle and also i had to learn dart and flutter in under 3 weeks to start working on this project

What's next for Walk It

With money from the hackathon or proper funding, I will hire a more broad and experienced team to help me scale the project, to the levels of sweatcoin or stepn

Currently the app does a good job of reading your steps from your device pedometer. This is still an active WIP
