Inspiration

We were inspired by the need to help refugees in our community and connect others with the refugees.

What it does

WITS is an Android Application that enables donors to connect with refugees and assist with providing necessities to the refugees.

How we built it

We built the app using Android Studio and established a proof of concept through a C++ program.

Challenges we ran into

We encountered some difficulties with merging the different parts of the project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're happy with the app we produced.

What we learned

We learned how to delegate tasks and raise an Android app from the ground up.

What's next for Walk in Their Shoes

We hope to integrate web services to save and retrieve new resources for the refugees.
