Inspiration

Anime films of the late 90s

What it does

it is a meditative journey, designed to give the feel of a dreamlike stream of consciousness.

How we built it

The track is a remix of an original track using Udio. Images were generated in midjourney using its moldboard feature, then animated with Minimax. Topaz video was used to enhance several 'hero' shots and clean up some artifacting.

Challenges we ran into

mostly dealing with subtle artifacting and distortion and finding the sweet spot for getting the shot desired.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

That it all came together and worked so well.

What we learned

This was an early experiment for a 'visual album' and was helpful in helping to define the artistic concepts that inform my work.

What's next for WAKE

It would be fun to expand on some of the ideas I was working on here. and get into more of the narrative elements that I developed in my head for this piece. It would be unto combine that with the 'visual album'
