This concept of the code was developed when my group and I were planning to meet up, but each one of us was late to the meeting because we did not want to get up from our beds. Our alarms on our phones were in no way adequate, because our sleeping minds had been trained to hit snooze immediately. The idea of having an alarm clock that makes sure you cannot snooze it until you are physically active was thus born. This app is targeted to all users who have a hard time getting up in the morning, and is based off of the Pebble smart watch. It utilizes a pedometer, as well as the vibration technique and alarm clock in the Pebble watch. The only way you can get this alarm clock to snooze is if you physically get up and take x amount of steps (in this demo it is 10). It's a great way to start the day off right!
