Waffle

Inspiration

We liked to eat waffles and compare the different spots near school. We wanted a way to easily share our findings with our friends.

What it does

A social networking app that centers around food reviews. Allows you to plan to try new places with your friends and leave reviews for each other to see.

How we built it

React + Next.js, PostgreSQL via Supabase, Google Places API, MapLibre with MapTiler Tiles for the Map layer.

Integrating Supabase with the app features.

We learnt how to use React, PlacesAPI, Typescript, and Supabase for the first time.
