Inspiration

The unique creativity and humor found in Reddit communities inspired the idea of creating a quirky, chaotic, and casual gaming platform right within Reddit. The goal was to make Reddit more interactive by turning subreddit participation into playful, gamified experiences. Inspired by how bots and games thrive in Discord, we imagined bringing lightweight, fun games directly into Reddit threads using Reddit’s Developer Platform. We wanted to make games that aren’t just fun—but are weird, unexpected, and community-driven.

What it does

The project is a multi-game platform that integrates seamlessly with Reddit using Bolt automation and Reddit’s API. Users can opt into the experience by commenting "CRAFT" in a subreddit, which triggers the Bolt bot to activate the game engine. How we built it

We configured Bolt workflows to: Detect opt-in comments Serve the right game link or embed Update the player’s progress using Supabase in the background Post progress or challenges back to the subreddit for engagement

Why Bolt? Because it abstracts away backend and frontend dev! It builds the UI, connects to Reddit, and acts like our “glue” layer between Reddit and the game engine.
