We play chess and other board games a lot so we wanted to do something related
What it does
Basically a 2 player chess game that adds twists every 10 turns
How we built it
The program was split into 4 parts: display, game board, game pieces, and custom modules that added a twist to the game.
Challenges we ran into
We lost contact with 2 of our team members shortly after brainstorming, so, unfortunately, we had to rush this as a group of 2. there were a few logic errors but were easily fixed with debugging. Overall, the project went rather smoothly.

Working on this for 18 hours straight
What we learned
Although programming is very time consuming, it is completely possible to pull off a project within 24 hours.
What's next for Wacky Chess
We would like to add more twists, improve the user interface, and maybe implement online multiplayer with sockets.
