Inspiration
Freedom from fear to practice sports safely and securly without harasment or danger in urban & suburban areas for all.
The issue of people sitting on couches, needing facilitation & encouragement to engage in an active lifestyle, has led to increased levels of obesity and related illnesses such as high blood pressure and diabetes in our society. All of this has been exacerbated by isolation during the Covid 19 Pandemic. Professionally Co-Design inspires me towards Citizen driven solutions and human-centered Universal Access to Technology, Education, & Physical public Space for and by end user contribution towards a comprehensive participatory design science (CADS).
What it does
Geospatial Audit (YES) Navigation (Maybe) To ensure urban spaces are accessible and safe for enjoyment, health and wellness. We are proposing the development of a Coach APP that would guide a user off the couch for a fun run, jog, walk, or stroll along an assessed path for length, slope, scenery, and Visit-ABiLiTY between established nodes towards quality lifespan for people from the age 1 to 1 hundred.

Challenges we ran into
Balancing privacy and the need for citizen data, expect consultation and consensus in the Project's future.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have a brilliant multidisciplinary team and a great development methodology that works well in a CO-design format with Citizen voices and impactful participation in an engaged research structure.
What we learned
That have a mockup for a great and useful project, and we need to bring all the possible stakeholders together for further dialogue
What's next for WabiSabi 1 to 1 hundred
Organize a couple of CityLabs bringing together all the decision makers and stakeholders.
