Inspiration

Being from a country where technology is not developed and transport services still archaic, it was an honor and an inspiration for us to build a bot that will provide the parcel service.

What it does

It is available 24/24, fast, easy to use anywhere and when. This creates a strong community within the service. No more need to pay a shipping company to send your packages because with Waale you will find parcel carriers who will take your package to destination or in case of displacement you can carry packages in exchange for a sum of money . It is less expensive. This project is supported by young students from Burkina Faso in West Africa.

How I built it

it is built thanks to facebook messenger, nodejs and mongodb

Challenges I ran into

It was our first time to discover the technologies of Facebook, it was a big challenge to program a bot especially in a country like Burkina Faso.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We are proud to have been able to start a Facebook Messenger bot and especially the problem of sending parcels that it solves around the world.

What I learned

We learned a lot about facebook technologies and teamwork
