Inspiration

Influencer marketing is a form of social media marketing involving endorsements and product placement from influencers, people and organizations who have a purported expert level of knowledge or social influence in their field. It has become the new way people find things. It employs leading, niche content creators to improve brand awareness, increase traffic, and drive your brand's message to your target audience. I like the general philosophy of the gig economy. It's a great way to involve people. There is a lot of marketing talent in the world who are yet to be connected. Since there isn't a platform for them to profess their skill I thought this might be a good opportunity to build something like that. I started with the goal of making clean and easy to use platform. It had to something which is easy to start on, provides meaningful analytics and looks good at the same time. A seamless payment system would be very important for that.

What it does

It's an online platform for marketing managers to create targeted campaigns and use the existing network of influencers to reach their audience. Managers start by creating campaigns with all details like - timelines, descriptions, geographic and demographic targeting. They also attach a spend budgets and goals for their campaign. This information is viewable by influencers all over the world. If they find some campaign which may suit their audience, they can join the campaign. The app generates unique links for influencers to share on their network. Influencers can share this link and pick up rewards from the campaign budget based on how much traffic they generate. The app provides dashboards and views for teams to collaborate together on campaigns. It also provides analytics for both influencers and campaign managers to keep track of their performance and funds. The influencer network can be from anywhere in the world. With the underlying Rapyd payment system they can send and receive rewards easily.
