How many times you wanted to trade something that was not available on your favorite crypto exchange? We know we did. We wanted to buy options on altcoins, but we couldn’t find any platform for that. We wanted to hedge our NFT positions, but we couldn’t find any platform for that. We wanted to deploy stablecoins in alternative and TradFi market, but we couldn’t find any platform for that.
We wanted to create a platform that would allow us to do all of that and more. We wanted to create a platform that would allow us to create new financial products, and we did.

The Product
Vyper allows you to take any parameters of derivative and customize as you please, this means you can have custom payoff, collateral, strike, duration and more! Even better? We let you do so in a completely decentralized fashion.
It implies you can build financial products for more sophisticated users (option for hedging, forward and other income generating products) as well as retail gamified platforms (short term high leverage binary markets) with the SAME infrastructure, you just need to spin up a different front-end.
A short-term prediction market on YFIUSD where users bet with SUSHI token? Can be done on Vyper. An option market on ETHUSD where users trade with DAI? Can be done on Vyper. A forward market where users trade ARB derivative with USDT? Can be done on Vyper. And much more....

Hackahton
During the ChainLink hackathon we built from scratch the ChainLink Connector, such that all feeds from Chainlink can be used in the protocol as settlement data for the derivatives.
