Our app

Inspiration

Ever since a personal family tragedy, I decided to not let any family face the same fate. So we created this application to help and save people.

What it does

Our mobile application is equipped with several features including a way for ambulances to reach the residence of the heart stroke patient within minutes of the event occurring after an alert is sent. The alert will be sent to the nearby hospitals with just one tap in our application.  Another feature is to check the availability of specialized doctors in the nearby hospitals. Third feature is to be able to check information regarding available medicines in nearby pharmacies. 

How we built it

Using Jetpack compose in android studio and UI design in Figma

Challenges we ran into

Lack of time to develop the app and rendering issues in android studio.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to save people who are suffering from health issues and making their families feel safe and happy.

What we learned

We have learnt that importance of time and how even a few seconds delay can lead to disastrous situation for a family.

What's next for Vydya

In future we want to develop an app database which is installed in phones also in smart watches and also in breathing chip sensor where this all database is installed. In this we will create three databases, the first one being hospitals which are near by to their location, second one being doctors, third one being pharmacy which displays all the information regarding medicines.
