VULTUR'S - Connecting Cultures

Project's Inspiration:

We were inspired to create Vultur’ with the aim to bridge cultural gaps, promote respectful travel, and create a space where people can share real experiences, learn from others, and celebrate global diversity.

What it does:

Vultur' is a web application that is designed to help users plan for trips that are new to them and different from the culture background offering insights on etiquette, traditions, and local behavior. Vultur’ allows users to have the basic knowledge about their desired destination. Vultur’ aim is to bridge cultural gaps and unite different cultures, encouraging others to embrace other cultures and oppose discriminatory and stereotyping behaviors .

With this web application, users can explore the cultural etiquette and traditions of the destination they are going to and input their own stories of their travel into the web application as a review. Mainly, our target users are families, study abroad students, first-time travelers or tourists, and anyone interested or needing to understand better about new cultures before visiting. Hence, Vultur’ hopes to create a global rooting and supportive community that can share both travel and experiences in cultural diversity and support.

How was it made?

Vultur' was built entirely on Figma, where we first discussed and plan its' the features and structure of the UI, before we started developing the UI on Figma. We got inspirations from Pinterest and Google And also with guidance from AI

Challenges we encountered

While developing this project we as a team, we had difficulty on designing the UI, that is, planning on how it will look, the colors and styles. Since, we've never experienced working on a project with this scale.

Our Accomplishments

Being able to make a big project like Vultur' was already a big accomplishment for us. Since it was the first time we had the chance to create and plan a large scale project as Vultur'.

What we Learnt?

We learned how to collaborate together to brainstorm on this large scale project. Where each of us contribute to the project providing our own skills and ideas. In addition, we also learnt to manage our time more efficiently especially right now we are beginners to an event like this.

What's next for VULTUR'S - Connecting Cultures:

For future improvements we hoped to develop Vultur' further by adding more countries to the web-application, and open more features that we had in plan.
