Inspiration

Well, we've set ourselves a cool challenge! We have created an in-flight entertainment platform that does not require internet and allows passengers to interact with each other. Moreover, the platform's theme is based on the flight destination and can be used on navigator.

What it does

We have created Vuelinquieto, a website that offers passengers a game based on the famous game which is called "Pinturillo" set on flights to a destination. We have also added a chat to enter the answers in real time and finally have your results available with the winners.

How we built it

To build Vuelinquieto, we used several technologies, such as React, Node.js, Python and SQL for the database. We have done a good research on the flight destinations to make sure that the information and the game itself are accurate and attractive.

Challenges we ran into

There have been some challenges to overcome along the way, such as making sure the platform is easy to use and navigate. We have also had to take into account the absence of wifi to connect different devices using an internal network.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very happy to have created such an interactive and interesting platform. We have learned a lot about user experience design and the limitations of in-flight technology.

What we learned

We have learned new technologies such as the use of a socket server through libraries like Flash SocketIo. Improve our knowledge in programming languages such as Python and Javascript and learn to work in teams in a correct and orderly way.

What's next for Vuelinquieto

Our ultimate goal is to provide a unique and fun in-flight entertainment experience for all Vueling passengers by improving this app, also adding different games! Also to improve our database with more information allowing all vueling destinations. Make it responsive to allow passengers to play with mobile phone and more details to improve user experience.
