Inspiration
I see many students struggling to calculate their cgpa and sgpa , this motivated me to create a easy to use and intuitive application.
What it does
Calculates CGPA and SGPA for students studying in VTU
How we built it
I went over the methodology implemented by VTU to calculate cgpa and sgpa and implemented it using html css and js
Challenges we ran into
Different branches having different courses was making the code too long and repetitive
Accomplishments that we're proud of
This is my first hackathon project
What we learned
I got out of tutorial hell and actually made a project from scratch , it helped me improve my debugging skills
What's next for VTU CGPA Calculator
Ill make it more efficient and improve the UI by using react and tailwind css
